Calmtrack is a personal diary and tracking app for families and individuals. We built Calmtrack with a “privacy-first” approach and aim to keep this notice clear and practical.

2) Scope Of This Notice
This notice covers our website and the Calmtrack app, including optional features you choose to enable (e.g., cloud backup or email reports). It does not cover third-party sites or services you visit via links from our pages.
3) Information We Process
A. App Entries (You Control These)
- Journal/diary content you type, select, record, or attach (e.g., ratings, notes, photos you add).
- Optional metadata such as timestamps and categories you choose.
B. Account & Support
- Basic account information (such as email) when account features are available.
- Support requests and correspondence you send to us.
C. Technical
- Essential logs for security and reliability (e.g., error codes, generic device/browser details).
- Essential cookies/local storage to run the demo and remember your consent preference.
Sensitive categories: You may choose to record information about health or wellbeing in your private entries. These entries are for your personal use unless you export or share them.
4) Where Data Comes From
- Directly from you (what you enter in the app or send to support).
- From your device/browser to provide essential functionality (e.g., crash/error logs, consent status).
5) How We Use Information (And GDPR Legal Bases)
- Provide the app and site (perform a contract or steps at your request).
- Secure and maintain services (our legitimate interests in security, anti-fraud, and reliability).
- Respond to support (perform a contract and legitimate interests).
- Optional features you enable (your consent; you can turn these off at any time).
- Legal compliance (where needed to comply with law or enforce terms).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your entries for advertising.
6) Cookies & Local Storage
We use only essential cookies/local storage on the website and demo (for example, remembering your cookie choice or demo mode). You can decline non-essential items via the banner; essential items are required to operate the service.
We do not use analytics, marketing, tracking, or advertising cookies.
- Consent key: stores your cookie choice (accept/decline) so we don’t ask again.
- Demo/session keys: needed to run the embedded demo in your browser.
7) How We Share Information
We share data only as needed to provide and secure the services, or when you explicitly choose to share:
- Service providers (processors): hosting, security, email delivery. They are bound by contracts to protect data and act only on our instructions.
- Legal/disclosure: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or integrity of the service.
- You control sharing: exporting a PDF or sending a report is your choice; recipients then control those copies.
Infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform. The cloud provider, not Calmtrack, holds certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 for the underlying platform.
8) International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in data centers outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and vendor certifications. Contact us if you have questions.
9) Data Retention
- Your entries: remain available to you until you delete them in-app or uninstall the app; for cloud features (if enabled), we retain data as long as your account/feature is active or as required for security/legal reasons.
- Support emails: usually retained up to 24 months for reference and audit, unless you ask us to delete sooner (unless law requires longer).
- Technical logs: short retention to ensure security and service reliability.
10) Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., EU/EEA/UK), you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
- Port your data;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise rights, contact support@calmtrack.net. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within applicable timelines.
You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
11) Children’s Privacy
Calmtrack can be used by parents/caregivers for children. Where required by law, parental or guardian consent is obtained for features that process a child’s personal data. If we learn we’ve collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
12) Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, apply access controls, and monitor for abuse. No system is 100% secure, but we work to minimize risk and review safeguards periodically.
Important: Items you export or share (such as PDFs or emails) are outside our control once sent. Protect those copies accordingly.
13) Changes To This Notice
We may update this notice to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We’ll update the “Last Updated” date and, when material changes occur, provide additional notice where appropriate.

13A) Account & Data Deletion
Calmtrack allows users to delete their account and associated cloud data at any time.
Option 1 — In-app deletion: In the Calmtrack mobile app, you can open Settings → Delete Account to permanently remove your account. This action deletes:
- Your Calmtrack account identity
- Any cloud-stored data linked to your account (if you enabled cloud backup or email features)
Option 2 — Request via website:
You may also request deletion by submitting the form at:

All verified deletion requests are processed within 7 days unless additional time is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Note: Entries stored only on your device (local data) are fully under your control and are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data.
